Meet The Team

Chair & Events Coordinator
Sonja Babac
My name is Sonja and I am a first-year Master of Electrical Engineering student specializing in AI for health. In the TU/e Health Community, I am fulfilling the role of Chair which means that I take care of meeting agendas, TU/e wide communications, and lead the team. In my free time, you can find me rowing at the Eindhoven canal or just exercising at SSC!
I joined in setting up the TU/e Health Community since I believe that health innovation cannot wait but needs to be accelerated, which is exactly what TU/e Health Community strives to achieve by connecting students, academia and healthcare professionals.

Public Relations
Ilse Faber
Hi all! I'm Ilse, first-years Master Industrial Design. Responsible for Public Relations together with Noa, we're the faces behind these posts and other means of communicating the TU/e Health Community. In my spare time I can be found somewhere in nature (preferably at the beach), usually on a road bike (preferably only néar the beach).
In my Industrial Design projects I have always focused on health or healthcare, through which I realised that much can be gained in this field by forming more effective connections between industry, academics and society. To contribute in this, I joined the board!

External Relations
Cecilia Liu
Heya! I’m Cecilia and I’m finishing up my Bachelor in Biomedical Technology.
🫐 My interest in AI for health led me to join the TU/e Health Community which fosters enthusiasm for using technology to improve healthcare. I’ll be taking care of External Affairs which means I’ll look for challenge-based learning and career opportunities in the field of health innovation for students. My mission is to ensure that students are not only familiar with the health innovation industry, but also with academic options. By creating a collaborative and empowering community, I wish to encourage students to use their own unique skills to contribute to healthcare innovation.
